SERVICE NOW DEVELOPER

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification is preferred
    • Good understanding of ServiceNow tool functions - both frontend and backend operations
    • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
    • Knowledge of ITIL Foundations best practices (certification preferred)
    • At least 3-5 years of experience as ServiceNow Developer and 1-2 years Administration
    • Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including the creation and customization of the core modules Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests (workflow, client side scripting, ACLs, business rules)
    • Configuration management experience including optimizing CMDB
    • Experience in Configuration of the tool to onboard Biogen Business applications into ServiceNow. The applications will be either on-prem, AWS or Azure
    • Configure Workflows
    • Experience in Customizations - backend integrations to products like Turbot, CMDB and AWS through APIs
    • Forms Creation in ServiceNow
    • Forms for Office 365, Sharepoint and MPP (some examples)
    • Experience in AWS intergration for various services (say EC2, EFS). ServiceNow will become front end for AWS and Azure – Added advantage
    • Understanding of executing projects in GxP environment
    • Assist testing team on the functionalities to be tested

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces,


    • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results


    • Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications


    • Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support


    • Identify, escalate and document production impact issues


    • Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities


SNOW DEVELOPER

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Support Enterprise Architecture in the design and implementation of automated discovery & data federation from multiple data sources into the ServiceNow CMDB.
    • Develop technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that they meet the client's needs and are aligned with ITIL, ITSM, ITOM and CMDB best practices.
    • Lead customization and configuration of Discovery, Event Management and the CMDB to automate incident creation based on alerts and optimize infrastructure visibility and management.
    • Technical Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the implementation of ServiceNow solutions that align with the designed requirements and ensure solutions meet industry best practices. Develop and maintain advanced scripts, business rules, and client scripts.
    • Data Migration: Support data migration design and activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition. Validate that data is migrated to the most beneficial ServiceNow data structures, leveraging out-of-the-box data schemas before designing custom tables and fields.
    • Integration Management: Assist architects in the design and integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end processes.

    • Best Practices: Contribute to the development of Org’s best practices and standards. Adhere to security and implementation best practices and ensure that implemented solutions meet relevant compliance requirements.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices to enhance the quality of implementations and maintain expertise in the platform. Continue certification and training process to meet Practice standards and growth areas and contribute to the continued success of the team.
    • Develop Asset and Configuration Management processes, procedures, and standards.
    • Mature processes and KPIs to improve Asset and Configuration Management effectiveness.
    • Build relationship mappings in ServiceNow CMDB with Discovery Tools and Service Mapping in serving ServiceNow modules including ITOM, Hardware Asset, Virtual Agent, Change, Problem, Certificate, Incident etc.
    • Lead integration of new modules, store applications, integrations, and spokes.
    • Interface with executive stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with business goals and emerging trends.
    • Oversee development and data management for integrations between ServiceNow Platform and other systems, tools, or services (like Workday or Active Directory)

POWER BI DEVELOPER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
    • Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create complex calculations and measures.
    • Develop and maintain Power Automate flows to automate data workflows and processes.
    • Integrate Power BI with Power Automate and SharePoint for seamless data updates and synchronization.
    • Leverage knowledge of ServiceNow to extract, transform, and load data into Power BI.
    • Create reports and dashboards that provide insights into ServiceNow metrics and KPIs.
    • Apply basic knowledge of IT service desk operations and Asset Management Database (AMDB) concepts.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to understand data sources related to service desk and AMDB.
    • Utilize Rest API for data extraction and integration into Power BI.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various databases.
    • Implement and maintain data security measures within Power BI, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
    • Develop role-based access control and manage user access to reports and dashboards.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    • 5+ Years in Data analysis, business intelligence or related field.
