Silicon Validation Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Develop and execute validation test plans for various SoC features and subsystems in one of the following areas - functional, electrical, or power/performance.
    • Perform functional, stress, and performance testing using hardware and software tools.
    • Analyze test results and identify, isolate, and debug issues.
    • Document and communicate test findings and status to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with design, verification, and software teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
    • Support the development and enhancement of validation methodologies and tools.
    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated validation experience in one or more of the following: Validation of:
    Functional: Core, PCIe, Memory Controller, IO, Power Management, Coherency, Manageability, BIOS/Microcode development and debug, or Fuses
    Electrical: Serdes, IO
    Power and Performance

    • Applied understanding of Computer Architecture and CPU/SoC validation principles, including: Understanding of SoC subsystem, SoC system level, and platform level functionality and writing scripts/software with industry standard languages like Python or C/C++.
    • Understanding system level software and firmware.
    • Experience with hardware and software debug tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, gdb, etc.
    • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, C++.
    • Understanding of board level schematics.

Electrical Engineer

DESIGN & RELEASE LEAD (CHASSIS & SUSPENSION)

OVERVIEW:

  • • BS degree in any of the following: Aeronautical/Aerospace, Agricultural, Biomedical/Biomechanical/Bioengineering, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, or Metallurgical or equivalent from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) university.
    • 20 years of design/development engineering experience in Chassis Engineering at an automotive OEM, Tier 1 Chassis Suppliers, or a combination there of.
    • Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
    • Experience with Design/Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
    • Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
    • Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Reactive Problem Solving.
    • Solid understanding of the system/component design process.
    • Experience with Change Management.
    • General understanding of NX (STLA CAD Platform) and Teamcenter (STLA Product Data Management System).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Engineering supervisory experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to summarize and present work to cross functional teams as well as STLA Leadership.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).

QUALITY PLANT ENGINEERING LEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • • The Quality Plant ENGineering leader is direct report to the ENG/FQM and dotted line with Quality Plant ENGineering Manager.


    • He leads the quality plant engineering team in charge of his perimeter.


    • On his meta function perimeter, in order to guarantee the customer satisfaction including warranty results in field and the plant efficiency, he leads the supplier quality, the plant quality convergence and manages the product/process evolutions in serial life.
