• Incorporation of design updates using SolidWorks CAD software.

• Experience using DB Works PDM a plus.

• Possesses strong aircraft design skillset with emphasis on aircraft primary structure.

• Background in aircraft structure modification is desired.

• Strong knowledge of aircraft structural assembly including basic material compatibility, fastener and standard parts, and finishes.

• Ability to produce designs in the context and limitations of existing structure for reworked aircraft.

• Creation of 3D geometry and 2D drawings in SolidWorks to support manufacturing.

• Experience with GD&T preferred

• Strong knowledge of airframe structures

• Minimum 12 years of experience, prefer 20 years of experience

• Must have prior experience leading and participating in design and development of aircraft.

• classical hand analysis experience and also experience with performing Lug Analysis, Bearing check, Buckling check, Section analysis, Fastener analysis..etc.

• Experience presenting challenging program and technical issues to senior leadership.

• Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) preferred.

• Prefer strong knowledge of aircraft structural assembly including basic material compatibility, fastener and standard parts, and finishes.

• Experience with modified aircraft flight testing preferred.

• Experience with FAA Airworthiness Standards and Documentation, FAA Original Design Approval (ODA), and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) preferred.

• Drafting – Min. 5+ Years Experience (Min. Recent 3 years of experience in Airframe structure parts drafting activities)


• Drafter responsible for the creation 3D model and 2D drawings


• Incorporation of design updates using SolidWorks CAD software.


• Experience using DB Works PDM a plus.


• Strong knowledge of 3D geometry and 2D drawings in SolidWorks to support manufacturing.


• Experience with GD&T preferred


• Experience on working with Airframe structural parts (Spar, Ribs, Fuselage, undercarriage, empennage and wings)
